The Pakistan government had earlier released a video of the captured IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan, where he was blindfolded and refused to answer the questions posed by the Pakistan Army.
Pakistan has recently released another video of the pilot where he states that he is being taken care of well by Pakistan’s military. In the video, he is no longer blindfolded. Sipping tea, Abhinandan states that he wouldn’t change his stance even upon his arrival in India and that Pakistan’s Army is treating him as well as his Indian Army would. However, he dodged a few questions raised by the officials, one of which asked him about his mission. On being asked about his location, he refuses to tell them the exact details, although he states that he hails from down south.
A Pakistani F-16 jet that violated the line of control early this morning in the Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district was shot down in Indian retaliatory fire in Nowshera’s Lam valley. The Pakistani jets, however, dropped bombs near the Indian Army post in Rajouri sector while returning, although there are no reports of any casualties or collateral damage.
