Tamils from the state and all over the country and abroad are in a state of utter shock from last night after hearing that the Chief Minister Selvi J. Jayalalitha suffered a cardiac arrest. Our sources from Apollo hospitals have given us the latest updates on Amma`s condition.

It has been rumored that doctors have done angioplasty on Amma but our sources confirm that it is not the case but they are following other best procedures. Respiratory and cardiac support is given by an external pump. The police, media persons and thousands of AIADMK cadres have been staying on overnight anxiously waiting for good news about the beloved leader. Barricades have been placed around the CM`s Poes Garden residence where partymen and supporters have gathered and the surrounding areas of Apollo in the center part of Chennai has once again become a fortress.

Ministers, MLAs and MPs are inside the Apollo premises and it is believed that discussions are going on and everyone present there are praying to Gods of their faiths with the belief that the Iron Lady of Tamil Nadu with her will power will cross this hurdle like the thousands she has in her life.
