Latest reports say 'JLK' is NTR's highest

'Jai Lava Kusa' has by way of Wednesday's premieres collected anything between USD 585,000 to USD 595,000, latest trade reports say. This is NTR's first-best figure, beating 'Janatha Garage' by a good margin.

Actually, the figure is a bit underwhelming, considering that the momentum had picked up rather early on. Hours after the first trade reports came in, the Premieres were expected to throw up as much as seven lakh dollars.

The film has exceeded this year's big opener 'Duvvada Jagannadham'. The emotional drama, directed by Bobby and riding on NTR's popularity, has released in about 500 screens in 170 locations.

NTR's performance is the film's raison d'etre. Produced by NTR Arts, the film is expected to be a dominant market player this season.
