Nasser has joined UTV Motion Pictures’ ‘Mugamoodi’ as a rough tough cop. Well what’s a superhero film without a cop in a pivotal role? When Nasser was approached with this role he was only more than happy to be a part of it and immediately signed on the dotted lines.

‘Mugamoodi’ which is touted to be Tamil cinema’s first ever superhero film has Jiiva as a superhero and Narain as a powerful antagonist. The duo, as reported earlier, went through intensive training in kung fu to get into the skin of the characters they are playing.

Pooja Hegde will be seen as our superhero’s lady love and will play a television news reporter in this film.

Now that the costumes and other things have fallen in place audience can expect the first look of the film shortly. Jiiva’s special costume as the super hero, designed by a Hong Kong based studio has arrived and a trial of the same was done with Jiiva recently. The photos with Jiiva in the special costume will be revealed soon.

Meanwhile a stadium has been booked in Chennai where scenes involving a kung fu competition will be shot.Jiiva and Naren will fight with each other in the presence of martial art experts. A huge set has been erected inside the stadium for the task. Music for 'Mugamoodi' will be composed by K, lyrics by Madhan Karky and camera by Sathya. Prakash Raj will be seen in a pivotal role.

‘Mugamoodi’ will be releasing in both Tamil and Telugu and both Jiiva and Nasser will be dubbing in their own voice in both the languages. The film will be a 2012 summer treat.
