Reports are doing the rounds that Microsoft is working on a foldable device that will be released by the company later this year. It is said that the Surface gadget will have a 9-inch screen when opened and is not meant to be folded and carried. Windows Core OS, an exclusive software for the functioning of the device, has been developed. It has been created specially for the dual display UI. The tablet also consists of an Intel chipset of the Lakefield series.
This new gadget will not only be compatible with Android, it also runs iCloud services and can be connected to 5G. It is likely to have an aspect ratio of 4:3. Lenovo also announced the launch of a ‘full-fledged laptop with a foldable screen' that will be around 13.3 inches, and when folded by half, is the size of a phone. This is expected to be in the market by next year.
