Latest Covid-19 numbers of Andhra Pradesh revealed

Andhra Pradesh logged 448 positive cases in 24 hours, as of 10 AM, Wednesday.  Besides, 37 and 12 cases are accounted for patients from other States and countries, respectively, in the State.  More than 36,000 tests were held in the 24-hour period.

Below are the official cumulative numbers:

Positives (AP): 8306

Discharged: 3712

Deceased: 129

Active Cases: 4465

Other States: 1661

Other countries: 364

Total (AP plus Others tested positive in AP): 10331

District-wise data of worst performers:

Kurnool: 1483

Krishna: 1132

Anantapur: 1028

Guntur: 891

East Godavari: 760

There is a proposal to test the majority of the population of the Telugu State in the coming weeks and months.
