One of the most unforgettable sportsmen ever in the history of the world is Muhammad Ali the American boxer who earned the nickname Knockout King by Indian fans of the time. He was known to fell his opponents through knockout punches and fables of his epic fights are still spoken around the globe.

Though the legend passed away in 2016 the current generation are spellbound watching his fights on YouTube.  His staggering record of 56 wins in 61 matches and that too 37 by means of knockout is still unparalleled.

An interesting trivia for the people of Tamil Nadu is that in the year 1980 the then Chief Minister of the state MGR presided over a boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Jimmy Ellis and fans went gaga seeing both the superstars together.
