Imagine someone issuing a warning to The Superstar Himself. That's happened.
One Valarpumagan, the foster son of Mumbai-based "smuggler"-cum-businessman Haji Masthan (who died in 1994), has written a latter addressed to Rajini. In the said letter, he claimed that he learnt that the actor's next film will be based on the life of his "Godfather" Haji Mastan.
He has said that Haji can't be depicted as a smuggler and an underworld don as he was never convicted by any court of law. He suggested that, if Pa.Ranjith's film depicts Haji in a negative light, he will have to face defamation suit.
The foster son also said that he would be ready to produce a biopic on Haji Mastan if Rajini wanted to play him. The son, who is now with Bharatiya Minorities Suraksha Mahasangh, also said that he knows the real life story of Haji, whose account he is ready to provide Rajini.
