Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on Sunday, carved a niche for himself in Bollywood. The actor had reportedly committed suicide at his home where he was living alone during the lockdown. He was reportedly battling depression over the past few months and was undergoing treatment for the same. However, the reason for death has not been revealed yet.

According to Sushant Singh Rajput's cousins, the late actor was planning to get married in November this year. Without revealing the name of the girl, the actor's cousin revealed in a TV interview that the family was gearing up to visit Mumbai for the wedding preparations. Just a few months back, the actor had visited his village of his maternal grandfather in Khagadia district, to participate in a family event.

Sushant who started his acting career on the small screen got his big break in Bollywood in 2013 with 'Kai Po Che!'. In 2016, Sushant hit the peak of his career, by playing the lead in former Indian captain MS Dhoni's biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story'.
