Doctor turned actor Sethuraman instantly connected with audiences on debut as hero in 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' costarring Santhanam and Powerstar Srinivasan. He played the lead in three more films but passed away suddenly in 2020 due to a massive cardiac arrest leaving fans shell shocked.

Sethu's wife Umayal who was pregnant with her second child at the time of his deeath was devastated but has comeback strongly for the sake of her two small children. She is currently running the dermatalogy clinic started by her late husband. Umayal shared the latest photos of her son and daughter and wrote an emotional letter to her late husband on Instagram.
