Now that his film 'Kanchana' is all set to hit the screens this weekend, Larencce Raghavendra is hopeful about the movie's prospects in the box-office. "It will sure repeat the magic of Muni," says the actor-choreographer-director.

"I would like to thank Sarathkumar for coming forward to play a challenging role in Kanchana. His role and performance would be one of the biggest highlights of the film, which is a sequel to Muni," he says.

Larencce further says: "Not all actors would be ready to do the role done by Sarath in this film. Being such a top star with a huge fan following, he readily accepted such a 'straight-contrast' character."

A bilingual, 'Kanchana' has Lakshmi Rai as heroine. "Children would enjoy the film a lot. We have shot many a scene with the help of computer graphics. Those scenes would make kids laugh and scream," Lawrence concludes.
