Language no bar for Anjana Sukhani

In an industry were the heroine is just a glamorous addition to a hero’s film, Anjana Sukhani is working hard to ensure that she is taken as seriously as any other in the field. She will soon be seen opposite Kannada actor Ganesh, who is also called ‘Golden Star Ganesh’, and is one of the biggest stars of South Indian Cinema. The movie called ‘Maleyali Jotheyali’ will be directed by Preetham Gubbi. Even though she has some very big Bollywood projects in her kitty, she has done a lot of research for her role in the movie and has left no stone unturned in getting her character to look as authentic as any other South Indian actor.

The hard working girl has pulled all the stops and is paying attention to her language and diction for the role. Not keen on having her debut film dubbed, Anjana is taking language classes and is even regularly interacting with her colleague in Kannada so as to ensure the correct pronunciation and diction. It is truly commendable for a youngster like her, to give so much emphasis to her role inspite of being a full fledged Bollywood actress who has no dearth of roles lined up. She is not taking her role lightly and wants to make an impression in the South Indian Film Industry.

“I am answerable to my fans and will not disappoint them by just being a dumb blonde in my movies. I feel it’s an honor to make films, no matter from what part of the country and it’s my responsibility to do full justice to my role, even if it means learning something brand new just for a single movie” says the talented model-turned-actress.

Her next projects include Vishesh Film’s Jashnn alongside Adhyan Suman where her role is of a girl who is the backbone of her dejected boyfriend and helps him realize his dreams and reach the heights of success. She will also be seen in ‘Tum Mile To Sahi’ starring Nana Patekar which is about three different generations and what love means at every age in life as well as ‘Allah Kay Bande’ with Sharman Joshi.

If this example of the actress’s zeal is anything to go by, then she surely has a long and pleasant journey ahead of her in Bollywood and possibly in Tollywood. Here’s wishing her all the luck.
