Lal turning serious

Mohanlal is lending some of his time again to serious cinema. This time he is associating with K P Kumaran, one of the directors from the non commercial genre. The film which is to start in a short time will be based on a drama by the world famous Norwegian writer, Ibsen. The film also starrs Meera Jasmine and Bharat Gopi in prominent roles.
Mohanlal has always been interested in doing serious roles. His portrayal of lead characters in Aham, Paadamudra , Rajashilpi, Vaanaprastham and Vasthuhara are all non commercial ventures that had been much applauded by the critics.
