Kavya into her fifty first film

Kavya Madhavan, the only super heroine of Malluwood is into her 51st film with her latest with Dileep Chakkaramuthu. After making her debut as a child artist in 1991 in the film Pookkalam Varavayi, she was pitched as the heroine opposite Dileep in the film Chandranudikkunna Dikkil in 1999. And there after in the last seven years, she was the only heroine who could produce any substantial hits ever

Classmates remain the lone winner

Classmates which was released way back in Onam still remains the topper, even after the big releases of Ramzan and Deepavali.

Renjith is the man

Following the good run of Pothen Vava, Mammootty has chosen to do another film with director Joshi. The shooting will begin only after the script is ready and Renjith pens it. The film produced by Doha Rajan is expected to release in July 2007.

Anamika - Short story to big screen

After a brief interval, a short story will finally be made into a full-length film in Malayalam. Many appreciated P G Johnson’s short story titled Anamika, a few years ago. The story fetched a few awards for Johnson.

Anand turns positive

Anand who has been doing villainous roles for a while turns positive with a character he is acting out in the new film Oruvan. This film directed by Vinoo Anand will place Anand as C I Madhavan, a sincere police officer. Madhavan is the close pal of S.I. Jeevan, the character played by Prithviraj in the film.
