Lal becomes highest paid actor

Mohanlal becomes Mollywood’s highest paid actor with the signing of the new film ‘Nairsan'. According to some unconfirmed reports, Mohanlal is said to have been paid around four crores for appearing in this international movie project. The Superstar of Malayalam has earmarked a continuous 125 days for the shoot of this film, which will begin by the third week of August.

Lal will appear in the title character, a freedom fighter from Kerala who joined British Army and fought against British colonialism in Japan. Ace Hollywood action hero Jackie Chan, will also be seen fighting along side Nairsan in his war against colonialism.

Jackie Chan will be paid another 30 crores for being in the sets for twelve days. An action sequence featuring Jackie Chan and Mohanlal is also planned to be shot at the Mongolian desert in the Russia-China border, with the stunt choreography by Jackie Chan Stunt Team.

This Indo-Japanese project will tell the entire struggle of Nairsan, whose real name is Ayyappan Pilla Madhavan Nair, born and bought up in Trivandrum.

Later he was forced to leave to Japan via Sri Lanka and continued with his sincere attempts overthrow the British government.

Director Albert who made the critically acclaimed movie “Kanne Madanguka will handle the story and direction.

The entire screenplay in English is ready and the works on Japanese translation is progressing fast. The movie's highlights also include the music and songs by A R Rahman, who has set tunes to two Japanese and one Mongolian song, for the movie.

The movie produced by Morphus group will be made in English and Japanese and will be released all over the world. The movie is expected to get completed in a budget of around 60 crores.
