Lal as Paradesi

The film by PT Kunju Mohammed, in which Mohanlal appears as the central character will roll from June 16. The film titled 'Paradesi' will present Lal as a Pakistani citizen who is destined to take refuge in Malabar.
The film narrates the real life stories of many of the such Pakistanies who were forced to take shelter in Malabar. The film has three heroines -- Lakshmi Goplalaswamy, Shwetha Menon and Kavya Mahavan, supported in other important casts by Bharat Gopi and Nedumudi Venu.
The film planned originally with Mammootty later changed the lead and Mohanlal came up as he has could find dates to spare, for this less commercial film.
