Lal and Innocent are the office bearers

Mohanlal and Innocent were selected as the chief office bearers of Association Of Malayalam Movie Artists, AMMA . Mohnlal will serve as the General Secretary and Innocent as the president of the organisation. This unanimous was held as every other panels of artists withdrew from the proceedings. Lal and Innocent are serving in the said posts continuously for two terms in AMMA. Dileep and Nedumudi Venu will be the Vice President and Idavela Baabu will be the secretary for this term. Mukesh will be the treasurer of the current year. The official announcements about elections will be made only on 16th of this month.

AMMA was able to select its office bearers unanimously as the panels announced earlier by Jagadeesh and co. agreed to withdraw from the fray. Speculations were in the air that Mammootty will contest for the post of general secretary. But he declined to present himself for the contest.
