Vanitha Vijayakumar's controversial marriage to Peter Paul is continuing to haunt her in the forms of multiple cases filed against her. First it was Peter Paul's first wife Elisabeth who made a police complaint challenging the legality of the wedding since she was not divorced and later Surya Devi did the same for Vanitha's accusation that she was a drug peddler. Kasthuri, Nanjil Vijayan and Ravindar Chandrasekharan have also threatened legal action against Vanitha if she did not apologize for her comments against them when they came in support of Elisabeth.
Yesterday Nisha Thota the building in which Vanitha stays has filed a complaint against her that she had conducted a program in the apartment during lockdown times without prior permission, and a case has now been filed under 3 sections for violating lockdown rules.
Meanwhile Lakshmy Ramakrishnan who has been criticizing Vanitha Vijayakumar and Peter Paul and whom Vanitha insulted on air in live chat has filed a defamation case against her. Lakshmy's lawyer has sent a notice to the 'Bigg Boss 3' fame actress to render an unconditional apology in writing for her slanderous defamatory statements on air and also refrain from making any comments about her in any media in the future.
The legal notice has further demanded a sum of rupees one crore twenty five lakhs compensation for the damages. Vanitha Vijayakumar has reacted on Twitter writing "See the good hearted social activist threatening me thru her lawyer demanding 1 crore 25 lacs for trying to act as if helping a family and interfering unnecessarily in my personal and acting as a fake judge when she has no authority to do it..sucks the blood of innocent victims".
Vanitha has also added "My lawyer is sending her a legal notice on the same...this is not a court document it's only a sophisticated ransom note they lawyers".
