It's known that 'Lakshmi's NTR' will have its trailer released on Feb 14th at 9.27 AM.

Talking about his film, director Ram Gopal Varma says, "Our film is a love story mixed with ungrateful families, disloyal followers and backstabbing betrayers. NT Rama Rao defied his family and his party to hold the hand of Lakshmi Parvathi and it is this mysterious and dynamic love story that my film is going to talk about. It is a wake-up call to all the truths sleeping for more than 20 years."

"The story of the film will show a completely dark and an ultra-secret side of the legendary man who is revered by crores of Telugu people but was backstabbed by a handful of people. Apart from baring open the mysterious relationship NTR shared with Lakshmi Parvathi for whom he went out of his way, the film will also explore what the secret reasons of their relationship were," RGV says.

"Though the topic is controversial in nature and may not go down well with a handful of people who will prefer the secrets to be buried forever, it is a story that all Telugu people deserve to know on what happened in those last days of NTR when fate was forced upon him. Instead of only being a film that shows the known aspects of the actor, 'Lakshmi’s NTR' will show a lot of dark details of the actor’s various relationships and also the various people’s relationships with him," the makers say.

Directed by Ram Gopal Varma and Agasthya Manju, it has been produced by Rakesh Reddy and Deepthi Balagiri. RGV has co-written it with Narendra Chary. Cinematography is by Rammy.
