Following Keerthi Chakra, actress Lakshmi Gopalasamy is set join hands with Mohanlal again.

Lakshmi Gopalaswamy plays the role of Mohanlal's wife in the war-based film Keerthi Chakra. Even before its release, she has been cast to act alongside Mohanlal.

She would team up with Mohanlal for Pardesi, too.

P D Kunhu Mohammed is directing the film. Mohanlal plays the role of a Pakistani who settles down in Kerala soon after Partition. In the film, Lakshmi plays the role of a singer. This is the second consecutive film in which she stars with Mohanlal as his heroine.

She was also Mohanlal's heroine in Vamanapuram Bus Route.
