Udaykiran and Diya are playing the lead in 'Lakshmi Putrudu' directed by Tamil director Raj Kapoor and produced by Polisetty Rambabu of 'Gopi (Goda Meeda Pilli)'-fame on the banner of RS Films.

The final schedule of the film is in progress now.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, producer says, 'This film 'Lakshmi Putrudu' is the production No. 2 on our banner RS Films. Udaykiran and Diya are playing the hero and heroine. Presently last schedule is in progress. We are planning to release the film in the last week of August or in the first week of September. We have decided to launch the audio in the first week of August. We are confident that the film would earn a good recognition to our banner by attracting all classes of audiences.'

Later, Udaykiran unveiled the posters of the film. The current schedule has begun on July 19.

D Imaan is scoring tunes for the film. Polisetty Sandhyarani is presenting the film.

Udaykiran, executive producer Vijay Varma, Ceded distributor Ravikiran also participated in the press briefing.
