Dhanush's latest release 'Vada Chennai' directed by Vetrimaaran has received high critical acclaim and is also a commercial success. The multi-faceted entertainer has signed on to play the lead role in a new movie to be directed by Ramkumar whose recent film 'Ratsasan' has become a huge hit. A few days back it was rumoured that Lakshmi Menon has been cast as the leading lady of the said film.

Ramkumar has clarified that he is in the process of writing the script and has not finalized anyone for the lead female character as yet. He has however revealed that the genre is fantasy adventure and will be a new experience for viewers. Ramkumar has also stated that the Dhanush film will be completely different from his previous two super hit ventures 'Mundasupatti' and 'Ratsasan'.
