Speaking to Pinkvilla, the 'Gundelo Godari' actress said, "Yes, I face this all the time. Initially, I did not think that all of these would happen to me because of whose daughter I was or that I was born and raised in the industry but they are ruthless. Nobody is fair and kind anywhere."

Lakshmi's interview is disturbing. "If someone like Lakshmi has been a victim of casting couch demands by predators, imagine what girls with no background must be going through," a Netizen commented.
