Lakshmi Manchu bagged the Best Versatile Actor Award at an awards function held recently in Hyderabad. The 'Gundelo Godari' actress donned a holographic fabric pantsuit and black tube top for the occasion. She received the award for her natural performance in 'Monster' (Malayalam), which was headlined by Mohanlal.
The actress, who is currently doing a film titled 'Agni Nakshatram' with her father, was visibly delighted to receive the award. Speaking on the stage, she sincerely thanked her family and friends for the win.
Thanking the jury and expressing her delight, Lakshmi said, “It was truly humbling and exciting at the same time to receive this award in front of my friends and family. It was super special for me to receive this award from Shalu Bhupal (Joint Managing Director at TAJ GVK Hotels), who I have literally known since my school days."
The event also had in attendance the likes of Vijay Deverakonda, Mollywood star hero Dulquer Salmaan, 'HIT 2' and 'G2' hero Adivi Sesh, 'Sita Ramam' actress Mrunal Thakur, among others.
As for Mohan Babu's 'Agni Nakshatram', it is currently in post-production. The film will be released soon.
