Directed by Teja, presented by K Mahendra and produced by K Chandresekhar (Jeetu) on the banner of Gita Art Pictures with Nandamuri Kalyanram as hero and Kaajal as heroine, 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' was released recently and was proved a big hit.

To mark the success of the film, the film unit held a success meet. Speaking on the occasion, Teja says, 'I am very happy for achieving a good hit after a long tap. Whoever watched the movie are giving a positive compliments and some of them claimed that their eyes have become wet while watching some sentimental scenes. It is really a great feeling.

These days, no one, especially from the film industry, is accepting the success positively. Some of them heard as saying, 'The first half in the film is good and the second half is boring. Even big hit films like 'Varsham, Chatrapati, Jayam' had faced a similar comments. However, they are forced to agree that it is an okay film.

These people should realise one thing that success is a must for the industry for its survival as well as for those who depend on it. If my film was not really hit, I openly accept that it was a flop.'
