Divya, one of the popular names in the television industry has been popular for hosting some of the got shows such as Super Singer in Star Vijay. Besides hosting TV shows, Divya is also a singer who has crooned hit songs such as ‘Dheemthanakka Thillana’ from Villu and ‘En Jannal Vandha Kaatre’ from Theeratha Vilaiyattu Pillai.

Last year, Divya got married to her friend Shibu Tharakan, and had been on a break from the television shows post marriage. Now it has come to light that Divya and her husband were robbed by a stranger in Paris and the legal officials in the place didn't consider her complaint seriously.

Divya shared the shocking incident on her Instagram stories, and revealed that they lost expensive electronic gadgets such as laptop, iPad, headphones, clothes worth lakhs, besides money and her husband Shibu lost his official documents and papers and also their passports. Divya further added that her husband Shibu Tharakan comforted her that the issues will be cleared soon.
