Actress Laila had been one of the most sought after actress of the early 2000s, and had starred in several hit movies like Dheena, Kanda Naal Mudhal, Parthen Rasithen, Nanda, Unnai Ninaithu etc to name a few. After her marriage, she had been away from films.

Recently, the actress with a pretty smile was seen along with actors Prasanna and Karthik Kumar, and director Priya, the team which had delivered the romantic entertainer Kanda Naal Mudhal, and there were speculations that they will reunite for a sequel to the movie soon.

However, even before a sequel could materialize, Laila is all set to make a return to films, with the upcoming thriller Alice, which is produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The movie directed by debutant Mani Chandru, stars Pyaar Prema Kadhal heroine Raiza Wilson in lead role.
