The Applause singer sure is a great supporter of LGBT community and social activist as well. She always makes sure that her voice is heard in the halo for the right cause.
The Grammy winner has recently spoken about her views on the Pride Weekend that took place in Manhattan, New York on 24th June 2017.
She says “This weekend is a time for us all to reflect on the importance of tolerance and the importance of bravery and kindness, (and) the importance of us supporting one another” speaking about the importance of the event and the awareness that needs to be spread along through the time.
She continues “It's a beautiful pride that we all should be in awe of.”
The Pride Parade started at Fifth Avenue and ended in West Village.
Many members of the LGBT community participated in the parade displaying the importance and the freedom in individual sexuality.
Many celebs including NBA Cares Ambassador Jason Collins, Marc Jacobs, Brian Atwood, Sam Smith and more celebrated the day by posting various shots of the pride event on social media while attending the event live.
