The teaser of 'Laatti' is all about highlighting its hero's temerity, integrity and sincerity in the face of bloodshed. The scum can threaten his existence, but he won't bow out. As he says, "If scoundrels like you can be this arrogant, imagine the arrogance of a cop who lives to serve."

Written and directed by A Vinoth Kumar, the pan-India release is going to happen on September 15.

The second half is made action-dominated by a 45-minute block where, going by the teaser, Vishal traps hundreds of anti-social elements in a building under construction and takes on them with his 'lathi'. It justifies the title.

Starring Sunaina as the heroine, the film's trailer will be released in August or early September.

Produced by Ramana and Nandaa of Rana Productions, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography handled by the Balasubramanian-Balakrishna Thotta duo. Edited by NB Srikanth, the actioner has stunts by Peter Hein.
