'Laaga Laage' emerges victor, shows 'Power'

Nakash Aziz-rendered 'Laaga Laage' from 'Katamarayudu' has come in for criticism from sections of the media. From being described as insipid to not being up-to-the-mark (for a superstar like Pawan Kalyan), everything has been said about the Anup Rubens' number.
Defying all criticism, the song has, however, covered itself in glory. The duet has crossed 1 Million views in less than 24 hours, besides getting 1 lakh likes, much like 'Mira Mira Meesam', an out-and-out mass number. If the numbers indicate a song's quality and popularity, 'Laaga Laage' didn't deserve a thumbs-down.
All eyes are now on Dolly's picturization of the number.
Bhaskarabhatla's lyrics seem to have grown on the ears over the last few days. The prolific lyricist, known for his lines that immerse the beautiful girl in highest praises, is known for his 'mass appeal' songs. The self-referential Katamarayudu line will surely go well with the hero's characterization.
