"This is what the customer is interested in, and this is what we will sell"

That's the 'mantra' adopted for the promotion of Priyadarshan's 'Kyon Ki' for which the DVD/VCD are out now on stands. The film that was part romantic-part tragic with some element of humor thrown in is now being marketed as a 'comedy' film in the DVD circles.

The publicity caption reads as 'Kyon Ki - Its comedy' with the promos highlighting some of the key light hearted scenes from the movie.

Well, let's see how much would DVD collectors really fall for promotion on these lines and actually make the DVDs vanish from the stands!
