The felicitations, shawl, garland, trophy is allergy to me, there are people who are waiting for it` – KV Raju hit back when the prestigious Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy headed by SV Rajendra Singh Babu announced another top veteran of yesteryears BR Panthulu award to him.

The same KV Raju who hit back on such an award is taking the award given by Karnataka state government in the name of SR Puttanna Kanagal prestigious director award today at Dr Ambedkar Bhavan. In fact BR Panthulugaru was guru to SR Puttanna Kanagal.

Rejecting the senior director award and receiving this award of SR Puttanna Kanagal award shows the temperament status of KV Raju.

In a reaction KV Raju has said there is no question of rejecting SR Puttanna Kanagal award. 35 years ago Puttannaji said I would receive award one day in life. That day has come today.

For having rejected BR Panthulu award KV Raju says it is given for retired persons in the industry. I am not yet retired so I rejected it he says.

However this argument is not acceptable says few straightforward persons like KV Raju.
