Devi Sri Prasad is growing strong day-after-day in Kollywood. The young and enterprising music composer-cum-singer knows the knack of rendering songs that instantly find favour with the masses.

With Devi Sri Prasad at the helm of affairs, filmmakers can be rest assured that they can get loud but lovable songs that would fit the commercial cinema well. And in `Kutty' too, he has rendered a collage of peppy and earthy score, which in one word is entertaining.

Produced by Gemini Film Circuit and directed by Mithran R Jawahar of 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' fame, `Kutty' stars Dhanush and Shriya Saran in lead roles.

The music composer has not disappointed his loyal fans for the album has songs that are typical of him - bubbling with joy and vibrant energy.

Penned by Thamarai, Viveka and director Selvaraghavan, Kutty's songs are sure to top the charts.

1. Life.ey Jollythaan - Listen here

Singer: Devi Sri Prasad, Raina

The song by Viveka is racy and rip-roaring. It is a peppy song combined with peppy beats. A saxophone in between is the highlight of the song. Devi Sri Prasad's energy in rendering the song deserves special mention.

2. Feel My Love - Listen here

Singer: Kay Kay

Again a number penned by Viveka. It is a pop song with Western touch all through. With some good use of rhythm, the song is sweet to listen to thanks to Kay Kay's wonderful voice. Viveka's good choice of simple lyrics does the trick.

3. Nee Kadhalikkum Ponnu - Listen here

Singer: Mukesh

Guess who has penned the lyrics for the song? It's none but filmmaker Selvaraghavan, a mentor of filmmaker Mithran R Jawahar. Mukesh sings in his nasal voice. Selva seems to have brought the emotions of love-lorn youth exceedingly well. More on instrumentation and less of vocals is what the song is all about. More of an earthy tune, the song is sure to create waves.

4. Yaro En Nenjai - Listen here

Singer: Sagar, Sumangali

This one is too melodious to listen. Vocals of Sagar and Sumangali perfectly fit to the tune composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Though it reminds one of the earlier works of the music composer, neat lyrics from Thamarai and some delightful notes from the flute, violins and guitar make it a worth listening.

5. Feel My Love 1 - Listen here

Singer: Kay Kay

With less music, this number is a modified version of the `Feel My Love.' song we saw above.

6. Kannu Rendum - Listen here

Singer: Priya Himesh, Mukesh

Get ready to shake your body while listening to the song. Perhaps an item number, this speedy folk song is sure to be accompanied by pulsating dance movements. At the same time, the song is not noisy like the usual `kuthu numbers' we hear here.

In short, Kutty's audio has all the ingredients that may well strike a chord with the masses, especially youngsters. The chemistry between Devi Sri Prasad and Mithran R Jawahar has worked out well.
