Tamil cinema has a long history of comedians turning heroes like NSK, Chandrababu, Nagesh,Gowndamani and more recently Vadivelu and Santhanam.  Television host turned comedian Imman Annachi is playing the hero in a new film.

The new film is titled `Kutty Pattalam' written and directed by Ravi Thambi and is said to be a children based subject.
