Rajini Gallery Pooja Of 'Kuselan'

The reason – Rajinikanth has given a green signal to the director P. Vasu for stretching his role with stunt sequences as well as songs in his upcoming film ‘Kuselan’. The Malayalam original that featured ace actor Mammootty in the part that Rajini will soon be shooting for, just had a little difference; Mammootty had made a very fulfilling guest appearance in ‘Katha Parayumbol’.

‘Kuselan’ will feature that typical Rajini stunt and song, much to the fulfillment of innumerable Rajini fans around. We had informed you a couple of weeks back that the superstar’s fans were making a beeline to director Vasu’s house and requesting the director for a more elaborate role of their superstar, but then Rajini had declined the offer.

But all that is history now, because the shooting for 'Kuselan' will soon begin with 25 days of shoot devoted to the Superstar. The first half of the shoot with the superstar is expected to start in Hyderabad this coming week. Reports coming in also suggest that the second schedule of the shooting is expected to take place in Pollachi and Udumalpet regions.

‘Kuselan’ will be produced by director Balachander’s ‘Kavithalaya’. The superstar in this film will share screen space with Nayantara. Pasupathi will be playing the role of Rajini’s friend in this film – the part played by Srinivasan in the Malayalam version. Pasupathi too plays the role of a local barbar, who lives a hand-to-mouth existence in the film and will be seen co-staring with Meena.

The comic interludes throughout the film will be provided by Vadivelu, who even with his looks and expression sends the audience into peels of laughter. The film will have music highlights by the young and talented G.V. Prakash who is slowly but steadily carving a niche for himself in the music department.

With a winning team at hand we are sure to see big collections for this one at the box office!
