Kuppy, the Tamil version of Kannada blockbuster Cyanide, will hit the screens on 6 April.

The movie was slated for release this week-end. However producer Vishwas Sundar has now decided to defer the release by a week.

The movie is directed by Ramesh and is about the last days of the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's assassins - one-eyed Sivarasan and Subha.

Marathi actor Ravi Kale plays Sivarasan and Anni fame Malavika has donned the role of Subha.

Ramesh has taken the incidents that occurred in the peripheries of Bangalore after the assassins of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi stepped into the city.
