Director Ramesh made waves with Kuppi, a movie based on the last days of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's assassins Sivarasan and Subha.

The movie, which was originally made in Kannada as Cyanide by Ramesh himself, went on to become a blockbuster in Karnataka.

Now the latest buzz doing rounds is that Ramesh is busy camping in Mumbai to remake the film in Hindi. Search is on for zeroing on the suitable artistes to play the lead roles. It may be recalled that Marathi actor Ravi Kale playing the role of Sivarasan and Malavika of Anni fame enacted the role of Subha.

Ramesh says, “I made the movie after intense research and it does not take sides with anybody. We have taken a neutral view in the movie”.
