According to the latest buzz, actor Kunchacko Boban is teaming up with director Ajai Vasudev for his next directorial. As you know, Ajai is known for his super hit action movies with Mammootty including ‘Rajadhiraja’, ‘Masterpiece’ and ‘Shylock’. If the upcoming project materializes, it will be his first collaboration with an actor other than Mammootty. It is reported that the upcoming movie will be a remake of a superhit action film. An official confirmation is still awaited.

Meanwhile, Kunchacko Boban is busy shooting for Ottu, directed by ‘Theevandi’ fame Fellini. Made as a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual, the film also stars Arvind Swamy as the other lead. Titled ‘Rendagam’ in Tamil, the film is produced by August Cinema. He is also waiting for the release of 'Beemante Vazhi', the second film of ‘Thamaasha’ director Ashraf Hamza. He also has a handful of movies in the pipeline including Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval’s ‘Nna Thaan Case Kodu’, ‘Grrr’ with Jay K, ‘Aaram Pathiraa’ with Midhun Manuel Thomas, ‘Neelavelicham’ with Aashiq Abu and Mahesh Narayanan's ‘Ariyippu’.
