Malayalam film ‘Pada’ starring Kunchacko Boban, Vinayakan, and Joju George is one of the most awaited movies of the year. Ever since the movie's teaser was unveiled, the audience had pinned high hopes on its release. Now, the latest is that the makers are eyeing a grand theatrical release in February. An official announcement regarding the release date is awaited!

Written and directed by Kamal KM, the movie is based on the real-life incident that took place on October 4, 1996, where four members of the Ayyankali Pada held the then-District Collector of Palakkad, WR Reddy as a hostage. Produced by Mukesh R Mehta, AV Anoop, and CV Sarathi of E4 Entertainment, the movie also stars the talented Indrans, Dileesh Pothan, Prakash Raj, Unnimaya Prasad, Shine Tom Chacko, Salim Kumar, Kani Kusruti, Sajitha Madathil, Sudheer Karamana, TG Ravi, and a whole lot of other actors in important roles. The camera is by Sameer Thahir and editing by Shan Mohammed. Vishnu Vijay, who gave us the unforgettable melody ‘Aaradhike’ is the music composer of the film.
