As per the latest update, Ranjith Sankar's new film 'Ramante Edanthottam' is likely to hit the big screens for this summer. Director Ranjith officially announced the release date of the movie through his Facebook page recently. According to the director, the much-awaited romantic entertainer will hit the theatres on May 12th.

Going by his Facebook post, Ramante Edanthottam will be widely distributed in Kerala and the other major Indian cities, by Central Pictures. He also mentioned that the team is planning to have a grand overseas release for the movie. The team recently released the first look poster of the movie and caught the attention of many. The team is now planning to kickstart the pre-production of the movie, soon.

In the movie, Kunchacko Boban essays the character Raman, a 40-year-old resort owner. Anu Sithara's character is Malini, a young woman from a city who visits Raman's resort, Edanthottam.Like Ranjith's previous films, 'Ramante Edanthottam' will also not be a just love story and it deals more of human relationships. Ramante Edanthottam also stars Aju Varghese, Ramesh Pisharady, Joju George and many others in the supporting cast.
