After tasting comedy and serious genres, the smart-looking Kunal Khemu will next go rough and tough for an action flick....

Kunal Khemu is said to be teaming up with Vikram Bhatt for an action thriller, something which the actor has never done before.

While the female is yet to be finalised, the film is expected to start its shooting either in December or January.

Talking about the new filmy adventure, Kunal was quoted in a press interview saying, "The film is a thriller but very heavy on action so it's gonna be a first for me in many ways.

The idea is very unique and new, but still fits into the genre of an action thriller.

It's an on-the-run film and is going to be very fast paced...

According to sources, Kunal and Vikram share good rapport since their friendship goes well back to ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’ days - when Kunal was child artist in the film while the latter had worked as an assistant.

Now for the past one and half year they are in touch; discussing to work together in a film. And it is only now that their plan seems to have successfully taken a shape...

The untitled project will be produced by T-Series.

Currently, Kunal is working on ‘Go Goa Gone’ and after wrapping up this one, he will seriously look forward to Vikram’s action film.
