Prabhu Solomon's next, Kumki, has been slowly shaping up over the past month. After the project was set for a Diwali release along with Thuppakki and Pooda Podi, the producers had to postpone the date due to the impending computer graphics works that was taking time in post production. Now, the official press release has arrived confirming it's release date to be the 14th of December.

Kumki is being produced by Lingusamy's Thirupathi Brothers and will be releasing under the banner of Studio Green across Tamil Nadu. It has two new faces in the form of Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmimi Menon playing the lead. What's interesting is that Vikram Prabhu, apart from being the son of actor Prabhu is also the classmate of D.Imman who has composed the music for the film. The soundtrack has gotten rave reviews from everyone already. With its release, we might just see Prabhu Solomon emulate the success of Mynaa once more.
