The glamorous star cast of "Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye", including Mahima Chaudhary and Rohit Roy, attended a gala function here to release the films' music.

The event at Raheja Classiqe Club, in Andheri, saw the film's director Samar Khan and Hiren Gada (vice president Shemaroo Video Pvt. Ltd.) also attending.

The film's lead man Arshad Warsi did not attend. The music is by Himesh Reshammiya and lyrics are by Sameer.

Actors Mahima Chaudhary and Sandhya Mridul were crowd pullers in their sizzling outfits.

The music of Shemaroo Film's maiden venture "Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye" had created waves much before its release.

The thumri from the film "Aane Do" has been well received. Reshammiya had composed the thumri that has been sung by Shoma Ghosh. Shehnai maestro Bismillah Khan has collaborated with Rehammiya for the thumri - marking his come back to Mumbai's recording studios after a hiatus of 40 years.

The music of "Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye" has a mix of romantic and foot tapping tracks for all ages.

There are eight tracks in the album with Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal, Alka Yagnik and Kunal Ganjawala lending their voices. The song "Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaye" has been sung by Arpita Mukherjee.
