KTR, Kavitha give question papers to Amit Shah

Ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah's Telangana visit, TRS leader KT Rama Rao today put out a host of questions to the BJP leader. The IT Minister accused the Centre of adopting a discriminatory and vindictive attitude towards Telangana.

Calling it a question paper, KTR said that a rail coach factory that was promised for Kazipet has remained an unfulfilled promise. Not a single medical college has been allocated to Telangana since 2014. Questions were also raised over the Bayyaram Steel plant, the ITIR project, new software technology parks, the Palamuru Rangareddy lift irrigation project, the allocation of Rs 24,000 crores to the Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha projects, financial support to the Pharma city, among others, were mentioned by KTR.

Kavitha Kalvakuntla, on her part, asked Amit Shah about the dues of Finance Commission grants to the tune of Rs 3000 crores, the Backward Region Grant to the tune of Rs 1350 crores, GST Compensation to the tune of Rs 2,247 crores, the skyrocketing inflation, the record-breaking unemployment in India, etc.
