'Bangaram' actress Meera Chopra has been raising the issue of online bullying by some fans of Jr NTR ever since she said that she likes Mahesh Babu and doesn't know who Tarak is. On Friday, the 'Vaana' actress tweeted to KT Rama Rao and said that she continues to receive rape threats.
"I have been abused of gangrape, acid attack, abused, cyberbullied and slut-shamed by your state. @hydcitypolice has filed an FIR and I hope for the safety of women this will be investigated thoroughly (sic)," Meera tweeted.
Responding, the IT Minister said that he has directed by DGP to take appropriate action against the culprits. "Ma’am, I have requested the Telangana DGP and @CPHydCity to take stern action as per law based on your complaint," KTR tweeted.
She had previously complained to the National Commission for Women against some fans. The 'RRR' actor has been demanded by her to speak out against the ugly behaviour of his fans.
