KTR asks Transport Minister to see if double-decker bus can be reintroduced

On Saturday, Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao got nostalgic when a Twitter user tagged him on the pic of an old-time double-decker bus of Hyderabad. Double-deckers have gone out of existence as they were phased out gradually more than two decades ago.
Saying that he has got many fond memories of riding the double-decker bus on his way to St. George’s Grammar School at Abids, KTR added, "Not sure why they were taken off the roads. Any chance we can bring them back Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar Garu?"
Replying to KTR, Ajay Kumar said, "Sure Sir KTR garu. I shall talk to the MD TSRTC on this Double Decker Buses possibility on Hyderabad roads. Regards."
If everything goes well, maybe, double-deckers are going to be back!
