The crucial process of vote counting commenced on Sunday morning to determine the destiny of 2,290 candidates in Telangana. Congress has successfully surpassed the halfway point in Telangana, securing victory in seven seats and holding a lead in 56 seats out of the 119-assembly.
Telangana Minister and Working President of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), KT Rama Rao, gracefully acknowledged defeat on Sunday as the counting trends indicated Congress leading to triumph in the assembly elections.
BRS Working President KT Rama Rao extended his congratulations to the Congress party for securing the mandate and conveyed his best wishes on Sunday, acknowledging their lead in the ongoing vote counting.In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), KTR expressed gratitude to the people of Telangana for entrusting Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) with two consecutive terms of governance in the state.
"While we are not disheartened by today's results, we are certainly disappointed as they did not align with our expectations. However, we view this as a valuable learning experience and remain resilient in our commitment. We will use this setback as an opportunity to bounce back stronger. Congratulations to the Congress party on securing the mandate, and we extend our heartfelt wishes for your future endeavors," he stated on X.
In the most recent updates, Congress has established a formidable lead by clinching victory in 63 seats, surpassing BRS, which has secured 30 seats. Notably, BRS has only managed to win in 9 constituencies. In the meanwhile Revanth Reddy is set to become the CM of Telangana as he defeated CM KCR in Kamareddy. Speaking to scribes, Revanth Reddy tahnked the people of Telangana for voting Congress to power. Reports are coming that CM KCR will be meeting Governor Tamizhisai and tender his resignation. Revanth Reddy is expected to take oath tomorrow.

Not saddened over the result today, but surely disappointed as it was not in expected lines for us. But we will take this in our stride as a learning and will bounce back…
