Kshetram is like Arundhati: Jagapathi

This is an Arundhathi kinda movie. If Arundhati had spirits in the story, our film is about god, says Jagapathi Babu, whose long-delayed film Kshetram is releasing tomorrow (Dec. 29). Starring Priyamani and Kick fame Shaam in key roles, the film is directed by T Venugopal. The film follows a historical narrative. In the film, Jagapathi will be seen as Veera Narasimharayalu and Priyamani as Nagapenchalamma.
I am not the hero of this film. It is Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. The story is related to him. That doesn't mean that Kshetram is a devotional subject. The climax scenes will have the audience in tears. No, it is not a sentimental drama either. Devotional values have been interspersed with commercial elements in this film, he says.
The film sees Priyamani in a seminal role. Dispelling the perception that his role is only nominal to the film, Jagapathi says that the contours of his role were enlarged as the film progressed.
The middle-aged actor says that he is open to experimentation. He is trying to catch hold of a novel subject for his 100th film.
