KS Ravikumar plans Tamil comeback with superhit remake?

Director KS Ravikumar has been known as one of the most successful commercial directors of Kollywood and has worked with top names of the industry delivering blockbuster movies like Padayappa, Naatamai, Muthu, Avvai Shanmugi, Villain etc.

KS Ravikumar had last directed the movie Linga starring Rajnikanth in Tamil and later had been directing movies in Kannada and Telugu and last directed the movie Ruler starring Balakrishna. Now he's planning to make a comeback to Kollywood.

KS Ravikumar however will return as a producer reportedly and might be producing the Tamil remake of 2019 Malayalam superhit Android Kunjappan v5.25 starring Suraj Venjaramoodu and Soubin Shahir. An associate of KS Ravikumar is said to be directing the Tamil remake and KS Ravikumar will only be producing this movie, 20 years after he made his debut as producer with Thenali. An official clarification on this speculation is expected soon.
