It is not just life story, it is a piece of remarkable history. Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose led battalions that took power in its hands to fight tooth and nail for the freedom that we have been enjoying for seven decades now. A lot of movies have been made, on many freedom fighters, showing how much the heroes struggled and mostly how patience helped, more than perseverance. While most of the movies made so far have touched only upon the victory of non-violence, the story of independence is one of a lot of action, which is yet to be tapped.

On the occasion of 70th Independence Day, renowned director KS Ravikumar declared that he is in interested in picturising the biography of Nethaji, intact with all the action, with a commercial touch to it. "Many movies have already been made, but they have all been more emotional than action oriented. On adding commercial elements, by recreating all the action, history could be reached to more people easily," said KSR.
